Athletic Performance Training
Athletic Performance Training is available at the REC Center with Coach T, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and USA Weightlifting Coach & Coach A, USA Weightlifting Coach. Our Strength Staff will lead 3rd-12th grade athletes to improve strength, endurance, speed, power, and flexibility. Our coaches will teach them proper techniques to develop good movement patterns at an early age to help with injury prevention and aid in preparation to be the best athlete they can be for their chosen sport(s)!
What is Athletic Performance Training?
Athletic Performance Training is a training program designed to progress the athlete gradually to increase power, strength, and speed. These progressions will vary on the training age of the athlete and their abilities that they have shown to the coaches. Coaches will reverse engineer the athletes respective sport to design the program to meet the demands of the sport.
Each Session Consists of:
- Dynamic Warm up
- Speed work
- Strength Training
- Mobility work post training
