MP Youth Rec Baseball
RECREATIONAL BASEBALL LEAGUE:
- T-Ball (PreK 5yrs-Kindergarten)
- Coaches Pitch (1/2nd Grade)
- American League Kit Pitch (3/4th Grade)
- National League Kid Pitch (5/6th Grade)
The Henry County Youth Baseball League plays in MP, Salem, Winfield and Wayland.
American League (3rd&4th Grade)
The 3rd and 4th grade kid pitch program is elevated play focusing on fundamental baseball in a slightly more competitive environment. Skills learned at earlier levels in the program will be enhanced and put in play in a faster paced game.

Coach-Pitch League (1st&2nd Grade)
The coach-pitch instructional program is designed to continue introducing the basic fundamentals of baseball. The focus is on fostering an interest in the game and developing basic skills through a fun, positive, and encouraging approach. The rules are simplified to accommodate young players. The program emphasizes skill development and sportsmanship over winning. The season is considered a success if kids are enthusiastic to sign up for baseball the following season.

National League (5th&6th Grade)
The 5th and 6th grade kid pitch program is elevated play focusing on fundamental baseball in a competitive environment. Mechanics and skills learned at earlier levels in the program will be enhanced and put in play in a faster paced game. Kids will be challenged at a higher age group to continue to enhance and further their skills in the game.

Tee Ball League (PreK 5yrs & Kindergarten)
This program is for our youngest players and is specifically designed to provide a foundation and introduction to baseball that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals. The performance objective for the Tee Ball program is for our children to participate in coach assisted Tee Ball games that will be used to develop individual player skills in a non-competitive environment. The rules are simplified to accommodate young beginner players. The program emphasizes skill development and sportsmanship over winning.
